Mount Timpanogos in October
A week ago we (my family) went up the Alpine Loop to check out the aspen and oak near Mount Timpanogos. We drove to some nearby lakes, had a picnic, and generally enjoyed the views.
My daughter brought her sketch and drawing easel so she could draw the impressive view and, of course, my kids climbed several trees.
There was a bit of haze in the air at lower altitudes and, despite the use of a polarizing filter, you can see it in the canyon in the photo below.
This is an image looking into the canyon of Alpine Loop and the snow-draped Mount Timpanogos. It’s nothing special from an artistic point of view, but it shows the amazing beauty of Utah’s Wasatch Mountain Range.
