The other day we stopped by the Great Salt Lake Nature Center in Farmington, Utah to see some fox kits in a couple of dens. We saw about seven fox but, as you no doubt know, I’m not a wildlife photographer so we just enjoyed the fox through the binoculars.
The sunlight late in the evening was fantastic and shined at a great angle upon some small, purple flowers. I loved how the light accented the colors so took a few photographs with the X-Pro 1 and 60mm macro lens.
This shot is straight out of the camera with just a bit of highlight recovery and metadata added by Aperture. I also slightly moved the camera while shooting to get an painterly look to the image.
