Tiny Insect Macro
I don’t normally shoot much macro but enjoy it when I do. It’s an incredibly challenging genre of photography - trying to keep something tiny still in even the faintest of breezes, trying to avoid scaring the insects, depth-of-field difficulties, etc.
The other day I wanted to shoot some images so I took the macro into the yard to see what I could find.
Below is an image of a tiny insect that was sitting on the brick of my home. I took the image with the Fuji 60mm macro lens and then this is a 100% crop of that image.
The insect’s exoskeleton is amazing. He looked so tiny in person but his features really are incredible up close like this.
