West Desert Prints
When shooting film I have thus far not bothered to scan the film. I figure if I wanted it in digital form, I’d have been better served by just shooting with the digital camera since I’d avoid film costs, processing expense, and the hassle (or cost) of scanning the film. Instead, if I shoot slide film I’d rather enjoy the slides on the light box, where they pop and have incredible depth. If I shoot color negative or black and white film, I’d rather enjoy small 5×5″ prints.
I mentioned in my previous post that my boys and I had spent some time out in Utah’s west desert, exploring dirt roads we hadn’t previously explored. Here is a set of my favorite prints from the trip.
