Great Salt Lake Beach

Promising skies lured me out to the Great Salt Lake for some photos. I swung by the marina to check it out but the lighting and sky weren’t going to work for the potential shots at the marina. I did see, however, a good spot further down the beach and headed over that direction. I parked the car and headed down toward the beach. I was running out of time to get setup so I was running to the spot when I ran into a thick grove of lake grass preventing me from getting to the beach spot I wanted. I found how to get to the spot but I was never going to have enough time to get there so I decided to set up shop and look for potential shots. Here is what I came up with. This shot is okay, and I like the lighting on the grass in the foreground, but there isn’t much depth to the shot. This shot was one I took at the last minute on my way out.
